How much should I charge to DESIGN AND PRINT 2,500 flyers?

Im a student graphic designer, but I just started a flyer business so I can make some money on the side. I design the flyer myself, then Ill go take it somewhere so I can get it printed off.

Anyway, what do you think I should charge to design and print 2,500 flyers? And what about for 100 flyers?

If it were me Id charge a separate fee for designing the flyer than I would for printing.

Also, there are so many unknowns here... you have to consider how talented you are (do your designs look really professional or have you just started and have a lot of room for improvement?), how long its taking you to create the flyers, if it contains any custom artwork or photography, etc. Your client is a big factor, tooif its for a church or your uncles backyard BBQ, dont go crazy with the pricesespecially since youre still a student.

Then, consider the cost/labor in printing. Is the flyer black & white or color? What type of paper is being used? Since its a 4x6 do you have to do all the cutting hand? How far do you have to drive to get to the store where youll be making the copies? Also, typically the more they buy the cheaper the cost per item.

After youve considered the time/cost to you, Id say mark up 510%.

How did you tell me everything I needed to know? You have to consider factors to determine pricingif not, you wont be successful. I gave a lot of good tips, but I cant give an accurate rate to charge without know your investment. "No help"? How rude.
