They arent looking at your technique they are more just looking for someone that has a lot of energy and can pick up the dance combo quickly.
My recommendation, something that stands out! Bright colors are great, make sure it fits your personality. Also spanks arent a bad idea, or tights!

The judges dont want anything showy. They are looking for good technique, not skimpy clothing. Do something that shows your flexibility and pointed toes, but keep it plain. Try a white tank top/ Short sleeve tee, sports bra, black bermuda softie shorts. Thats what all my studio, school, and every other dance thing has asked for. Good luck!

Something comfortable and form fitting. When I tried out for the dance company at my school I wore a muscle shirt and jazz pants. Nothing too extravagant, though. The judges might be more interested in your dancing than what you wear.
