I dont care for Malorie. It reminds me of malady and Sir Thomas Mallory. I like Maureen, which reminds me of fresh Irish lasses and serene.

I associate Maureen with women in their 60s and 70s. BUT thats no reason why you shouldnt use it for a futuristic story. I mean, among the top ba names for kids in the UK in the last few years have been Molly, Alfie, Lily, Harry and Jack but twenty years ago wed all have laughed and said they were oldfashioned. Names come in and out and in again, so theres no reason why someone in the future wouldnt be called Maureen.
Maureen is the name of my grandma, and my grandmas mother.
Not a good thing.
I like Malorie, sounds more futurey and it flows off the tongue
Sounds better, Malorie. Looks better to me, Maureen.
Malorie sounds better but the way you have it spelled reminds me too much of the word calorie. Maureen is too old sounding.
maureen sounds like it could be more common in the future if it fits the setting. malorie is prettier.
I like Malorie!
Use whatever name YOU like best.
I like Malory (with the Y)
